Just like every year, Anna University has started the Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme (TNSLPP) 2011-12 where students of final years 2012 pass out can get placements. Here is the very good news for all the Anna University affiliated self financing college students. In fact, there are many colleges under Anna University which are not having the ON campus placement at all. So this is the good news for all the deserving students studying in their final year B.E/B.Tech in any discipline.


M/s Cognizant Technology Solutions(CTS), has kindly agreed to participate in this Placement programme and there is the off campus placement at Vivekananda Auditorium,  College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai for the 2012 Passing Out Students, During  21st & 22nd January 2012 for Chennai Zone. CTS is the one of the leading IT company and it is most developing IT sector as well. This is one of the very favorite IT Company for many students. 

There is some terms and conditions for this placement program, Only students who is having 75% mark till 6th Semester are allowed for this placement. Students must be having 60% and above in their 10th Std. and 12th Std. This placement program is organised for final year students of B.E. / B.Tech. (CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, ICE & IT). 

For this placement program of Anna University, students can be allowed by The Principal / Placement Officer. The prior registration to attend this program is very important. And students will  have to register by paying 750/- as the DD in favor of  “The Director, CUIC, Anna University” payable at Chennai. All the original documents must be veriofied and attested by the concerned Principal or the Placement officer of the College. Students should not seat for another placement once they got placement in one company as there are many more company to come.  

There are total 115 colleges of Anna University Chennai whose students can participate for this placement program. Good news that there are some other company is also about to join this placement program in coming days. Once a student has registered himself for this program then he can seat for other company too until he/she gets placement.
