Amazon Development Center(India) Pvt. Ltd conducting recruiting Software Quality Assurance(SQA) Engineer for Chennai location. As an SQA Engineer, candidates will be testing code at the user level in both manually and with automated tools. SQA Engineers are not pure black box testers. They should be more grey box, and able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files and write automated tests with Perl scripts and/or user-level automated tools. - SQA Engineers will work with Software Development Engineers.
- To understand features and technical implementation.
- Should also work with groups such as Product Management, User Interaction, and Customer Support.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
- QA experience Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
- An experience in Perl/Python scripting and/or user-level automation tools.
- Experience in embedded systems and the publishing domain is desired
- Web based application testing experience and experience in scripting language.
